Is It Safe To Take Prilosec Or Nexium For Acidity Caused Due To Hernia?

I have been taking Prilosic for twenty years for stomach acid due to a hiatal hernia. As time went by had to use more to stop any heart burn. I now take 60 to 80 msg per day.The generic for Prilosic would not keep the heart burn away. Which is a better medicine fo me Prilosic or Nexium and do both heal the esophagus?????

Prolisec is omeprazole and Nexium is esomeprazole. Among these two esomeprazole has superior results. But you can switch to pantoperazole by discussing it with your physician
