Hello,

First of all it is not suggested to take any medicine without your doctor's advice. There are many adverse effects of different medicines and it should be only taken when a doctor prescribes it to you. The medicines are prescribed depending on patient's overall health and current situation. So avoid taking medicines without doctor's advice in the future.

It is very important to get the required blood tests done, to see the hormone levels and other factors are within normal limits. If there are fluctuations or abnormal levels found then after that only the doctor decides a treatment plan which benefits the most. I suggest you get the tests done and visit your doctor for this.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
