Is It Safe To Take Protein Shake While On Ortho Tri Cyclen?
Hello,I am currently considering taking post workout protein shakes. I bought the designer whey protein powder which is 100% whey based. I heard that some protein powders may interfere with the birth control pill. I am currently on ortho tricyclen lo And wanted to know if this one will affect the pill. Thanks for your help

Ortho Tri-Cyclen is a combination of ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate. This combination hormone medication is used to prevent pregnancy.
It is not known to have adverse interaction with protein shakes.
Hence you can consume it without much of a problem.
