Is It Safe To Take Robitussin With Codein Before Anaesthesia?

i'm getting general anaesthesia on wednesday and have had a cough for a couple weeks. It is usually at night and is a dry cough. Will the prevent me from getting the procedure when I have had it this long? Also, is it ok to take robitussin with codein this evening when I will have anaesthesia in less than two days?
