Is It Safe To Take Trapic While Breastfeeding?
Hi,mine was a cesarean,now my baby is of 6 months and I m breastfeeding her,now I m in 4th day of my period,and I have high bleeding,my doctor suggested me to take trapic 500, 2 tablets for three times in a day, and I have been taking it from past 2 days but still my periods has not stopped so I had to continue it..is it safe to have these tablets, will it affect my baby..

Trapic belongs to antifibrinolytic family of medicines. It prevents bleeding during heavy periods, surgery or clotting disorders. It does not allow the breaking down of the blood clots formed in your body.However As per my view it is not suitable in lactation.
I would advise you to double check it with your medical practitioner.
