Is It Safe To Take Udiliv And Sorbiline To Treat Fatty Liver?

I have been diagnosed grade I fatty liver since 2009. This month a doctor prescribed following medicines, Udiliv*300 twice daily, Bcosule one at night & sorbiline tow tea spoons twice daily before food. How long I should take these medicines. Any side effects. Can I consume alcohol during the treatment period & food restriction if any. I am 64 years, My weight 75 Kg & Hight 6 .5 inchs.

Hello,

Your doctor has prescribed you the right medicines. You should take them for at least 6 months duration. There are no side effects as such with these medicines. No, you cannot consume alcohol during the treatment period. You should avoid high fatty food, oily and fried, and spicy foods. I would suggest a bland diet with fresh fruits and vegetables.
