Is It Safe To Take Undezire Kit At 11th Week Of Pregnancy For Abortion?

Hi, I am 11 week pregnent, & dont want to continue with my pregnancy, is it safe to take Undezire Kit at this stage,so that atleast bleeding get started & i can visit a Dr for D&C after that.Please suggest, is it harmfull ,& is there any risk to my life if i take it at this stage, my age is 31 Yrs & weight is 51 kg.

Hello,
Medical abortion is effective only up to 9 weeks of pregnancy and a surgical evacuation needs to be done after that period. So, in the current circumstances, if you do not wish to retain your pregnancy, please see a specialist for a clinical evaluation and get blood counts, urinalysis and a sonogram before undergoing further treatment. Please do not self medicate as it can only lead to unwanted hemorrhage as the pregnancy may get aborted incompletely and this may further lead to infections and further grave consequences. hi, with medical mtp kits it is advisable till 8 weeks gestation as the risk for increased bleeding and incomplete abortion is increased.in case you are visiting the doctor and planning a d and c do not tae this kit and go for an elective d and c.take care all the best.
