Is It Safe To Take Valtrex For Disorinetation Of Penis?
How or when will penis, regain length, etc, from herpes infection. Since herpes virus, bagan a shrinking process, 2 years. Now taking valtrex, for 4 mos. and the chronic symptoms under control; although penis still much shorter and curved up now. I have an appointment with a urologist that works with peyronies disease, in a few weeks. The changes, in the penis, slowly shrinking and starting to curve up, all started with herpes, a chronic situation, every 3 to 5 weeks, rash near base of penis or a few bumps. The side effects of headache, tired, achey etc., all bad!! This recently became controllable with zero outbreaks, with the valtrex. Does the penis remain damaged or will it go back to normal, some year, ever?

Valtrex, is used for the treatment of genital herpes infection. These tablets can reduce the severity of an outbreak of herpes, the duration of pain and help quick healing of the crusts associated with herpes. Valtrex, has no role in correcting the shrunken penis. You are suggested to continue your treatment by the Urologist.
He will recommend techniques (traction device, vacuum devices, pills and lotions) to correct it. The results may or may not be satisfactory. Penile surgery is more effective. Stay away from addictions if any. Take nutritious food.
