Is It Safe To Take Wysolone 5mg Daily For Breathing Problem?
MY MOM WHO IS 83 suffers from allergy which results in breathing problem. She takes Levolin0.63 nebulizer twice a day but still has difficulty in breathing. Dr has prescribed her wysolone 5mg only when her condition is very bad. Now she has recourring problem of breathing even after taking nebuliser . My question is can she take wysolone5mg everynight ,will it be harmful?

Wysolone is a relatively safe drug and is commonly used for long term use. However it can cause osteoporosis in elderly. She can also try inhalational steroids after consulting her physician.
