Is It Safe To Take Advil For The Fever?

I am 38 years old 5 feet 2 inches 204 pounds prediabetic and severely anemic and had cataracts surgery on the 21rst of August. All appointments have proven ok and I have had little to no eye pain. However starting about Monday the 5th of september I have been running a fever of 99.5 that will not break when tylenol is taken. My normal body temp is 97.1 Other symptoms are headache, and minor eye ache, with everything feeling too bright to look at. What should I do? Is it safe to try advil fo the fever?
