Is It Safe To Take Contraceptives Twice In A Month?

Hello,I am 22 years old. Approximately one month ago I had sex with my boyfriend, during which the condom broke. The next day I took a morning after pill. Unfortunately tonight during sex the condom got stuck inside of me (but did not break) and I removed it without a problem. He is insisting that I take another pill, but I am terrified. last time I took it I felt very sick and hormonal for two weeks and suffered heavy bleeding. I am also afraid that taking a pill twice in one month will mess me up. Please give me advice for this situation. I am very afraid and I don t know what to do.

Hi,

Taking Morning after pill multiple tomes in a month does not change its effectiveness and it has no long term side effects also. Therefore, you can use this drug whenever you need to.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
