Hi,
I guess your son was prescribed axcepta for ADHD. It is generally safe at his age of 10, and in patients with small ASD and MR.
So is pacitane till the dose of 4 mg/day. The duration of treatment should only be decided by your doctor who knows about the stage of your child's disease. They will be tapered and gradually stopped once clinical endpoint is achieved.
Hope i am clear.
