Is It Safe To Take Zinnat During Pregnancy?

Hello,
Can you tell me please if Zinnat 500 mg ( recommended by the fammily doctor) is safe in week 27 of pregnancy? I ' ve been recently detected having an urinal infection (50.000 u/ml). My gynecologist is on vacation and i cannot reach him.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Zinnat 500 is cefuroxime which is a antibiotic, given in urinary tract infection also.
It is a safe drug in pregnancy and is not known to cause any harmful effect on the mother or foetus. You can safely take this drug.
