Is It Safe To Undergo Laminectomy For Benign Meningioma In Vertebrae?

Neurosurgeon, I have benign meningioma in vertebrae at c3with some c2-4 involvement . They say do laminectomy of c3. Tumor is 2 cm x 1 cm. pressing on s cord, but no clin symptoms, slow growing . How liklely is it to grow? What should I expect if get surgery? If not get surgery?

I really appreciate your concern, if the surgery being advise by the neurosurgeon then it need to be done because prevention is better than cure no need to wait for any symptoms because some time condition could be more jeopardized and then may not be operable, so need to take any chance, at the most you can have second opinion as long as the imaging reports are concern, hope this information helps take care.
