Is It Safe To Undergo Lithotripsy To Treat Kidney Stones?

Hi ....I have had a very small kidney stone that doesn t seem to want to move. No matter how much water I drink. I am hesitant about getting scoped. Is it appropriate to try the lithotripsy in the water first. Any negatives to going that route first. I have a small amount of pain even without taking medicine. Any advice.

HI THE TREATMENT MODALITY DEPENDS ON THE SITE AND SIZE OF STONE ASSOCIATED WITH PAIN , VOMITING, FEVER ETC.try to take plenty of fluids with low salt diet.Can go for Lithotripsy which is safe.
