General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The over the counter formulation Ducray anastim is claimed to be effective and hence used for the treatment of psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and hair loss.

However its efficacy and safety in the these conditions is not proved on any clinical studies.

I advise you to consult a dermatologist/hair care specialist to determine any underlying cause for hair loss so that an appropriate treatment can be given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
