Is It Safe To Use Neo Penotran Forte Suppository During Pregnancy?

Hi,I am 9 weeks pregnant and had minimal spotting for the past few days. When my OB checked, she found out I had this white creamy and curdled discharges. She then prescribed Neo Penotran Forte suppository taken at bed time for 7 days. As I was searching about the med, I've read that it shouldn't be taken when you're on the 1st trimester of pregnancy. I'm really concerned about it's safety. I already took one last night and I was expecting that the suppository would be "tablet-like" but when I opened it, it was like an ointment and was difficult to insert. Can someone please help me if it is normal and is it safe for me to continue using it. Thank you.
