Is It Safe To Use Provera?

hai doctor after my deliver in Nov 18th 2009 upto now i got two months my mensural period. Recently i consult a doctor in Malaysia because we are staying here. she given me provera 5mg tables for 10days.Is it safe or not i dont no.1st day of my mensural period i have to see her this is her advise.whats your suggestion? waiting for your reply.
