Is It Safe To Use Tugain And Xgain Shampoo For Hair Loss?

Hello Doctor, I m 27 year old male experiencing hairloss. The quantity of hair has decreased from last 5 years and slowly I feel I would be bald by 30-32 age. I never used any hair treatment till now and just used hair oil and boutique shampoo. Now getting worried I consulted a doctor and he prescribed Tugain5%+follihair+xgain shampoo. I m not very much sure if any side effects occur I should loose all my hair which will fall in due course. Please guide is this OK.

Tugain contains Minoxidil 5% + Finasteride 0.1%. Minoxidil is a vasodilator. It dilates blood vessels in the scalp and thereby increases the blood flow and stimulates the hair follicles which can enhance new hair growth. Finasteride is an anti-androgen drug. Excess of Androgen can also cause hair loss. This drug reduces these androgen levels and may promote hair growth. Both the drugs take time to act.You can see good results in 3 months. Continue follihair and wash your hair every other day. Healthy food is also essential.
