Is It Safe To Use A Progesterone Cream?

I have been using nateral progesterone cream for 2 months now. first it was great but by the end of second month my anxieties were horrible even to a major panic attack. My doctor prescibed clonazepam to help me through this. Is it safe to still use the progesterone cream?
