Is It Safe To Use Hydrogen Peroxide On Stretch Marks?

I was wondering if it is safe to use hydrogen peroxide on stretch marks? All I want to do is fade them from purple to white, I don’t really care about the marks going away. And if it is safe, how soon would I begin to see results? I’m asking because I can’t find anything that works at home. My mom won’t buy anything to help.

Hi,

Stretch marks would improve with time. Initially they are purple but over the ensuing months they would turn white and become less visible. Hydrogen peroxide won't have any effect on stretch marks.

I suggest you to use Tretinoin 0.05% cream once at night over the affected area. Tretinoin would help improve stretch marks by re-modelling the collagen network that spans the dermis.

Hope I have answered your query.
