Is It Safe To Use Makeup After Surgery?

I had chalazion surgery about a year ago and it was successful except for a small bump on my upper eyelid above where the chalazion use to be. I was told by my eye doctor that it s not a chalazion but some form of a clog that resulted from the surgery. It s been the same for the past year, it s very small and not noticeable. I m basically just wondering if it s safe to wear makeup like eyeshadow and mascara again?

I think the surgeon is correct. It is only a post operative scar. you can do your makeup and mascara etc.
