Is It Safe To Work Physically Prior To Mechanical Aortic Valve Replacement?

i have severe aortic regurgitation and getting a mechanical aortic valve replacement in 2 weeks. I am at home and feel fine. I have been home treating a blood infection for the past 4 weeks. As long as ID green lights me, i will have the surgery on the 19th. however I have some dirt to shovel around...would it be ok if i shovel this dirt right now? thanks,

No. I strongly recommend you not to do such efforts prior surgery. Try to have a rest because the intervention needs you to be strong enough even after it.
