Is It Scientifically Justified For An Imaging Center To Refuse A CTA With Contrast If My Serum Creatinine Is 1.6 Mg/dL, Above Their 1.2 Mg/dL Limit?

Hi. I was to perform CTA with contrast for suspected occlusion of the Aorta and/or pelvic and/or femoral arteries. I have a stationary serum creatinine level of 1.6 mg/dl for years. The Imaging center refused to perform this investigation for me and told me that they do not accept any serum creatinine level more than 1.2! Is their protocol scientifically justified?
