Is It Serious To Have My Baby's Left Ventricles 1.2 Cm Dilated And Will I Have A Normal Delivery?

I had my first UTZ at 31weeks and OB found out that my baby's left ventricles is 1.2cm dilated. I was worried going home to find out what does this really means. And the result was me getting worried everyday since I don't want my baby to be not in a normal status. Is there a chance that this will be normal eventually? And will i be delivering in normal or C-section... Please

Hi.It is your first scan. You should have got this scan done at about 18-20 weeks along with quadruple marker test. However, You need to follow the scan after 4 weeks to see if it is same size or increasing. If there is no other congenital anomaly or anything else in the brain, and it is the only marker, then it may be that everything is normal. You can also consult a perinatologist.
Thanks.
