Is It To Be Concern About The Swelling And Pain In The Ear?

I had an earache in my right ear 3 days ago. Yesterday the pain was less in my right ear but my left ear began to ache. I also noticed swelling in front of my ear. Now there are small lumps in front of both ears near the jaw line. I thought it may just be swollen lymph nodes but I also now have one on the left side of my neck, in the middle. There is less pain in my left ear, but constant ringing. Today I have had extra saliva in my throat and not much of an appetite. Should I see a doctor or am I getting over an ear infection? I ve never had an ear ache before. Also my ears had been itching extremely for the past 3 months.
