Is It To Be Concerned About The Pain In The Lungs Area?

Hello, I believe I had gastroenteritis yesterday. I threw up about forty times and could not keep anything down. For the past 24 hours I have been fine, but I am having pains when breathing deeply. My right lung/chest area is hurting, and it currently just made me wake up. Is this a serious issue or what could this be from?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted you are giving history of sudden chest pain while breathing and also about gastroentetitis like pain...

If you have eaten outside food then there might be gastroenteritis or ulcer like condition..it can lead reffered chest pain also.
For that antibiotic and omeprazole given...
Low fatty and spicy food taken....

Second if you have lifted heavy weight then also chest pain can occur as muscular strain..
Rest and hot compress useful.
If need analgesic can given...

If your ribs tender to touch costochondritis might be there....

If you develop cough and fever then to rule out respiratory cause auscultation and chest x ray needed.

Take care.
