Is It To Be Concerned About The Scratch In The Cornia?

i suffered a severe cornia abrasion while on vacation. i went to an urgent care type of facility and saw a general practioner at the center who gave me drops and told me to come in for a follow up 2 days later. 2 days later I went back to the same facility, saw another GP who prescribed an antobiotic ointment. tomorrow will be 6 days since cornia was scratched. should I follow up with an eye docotr?

Itis to be examined by eye doctor to confirm the extent of corneal injury. Now duration of anti biotic drop to be applied is to be decided accordingly.
