Is It Too Late To Take Hormone Therapy For Hot Flashes After Stopping Estratest Due To Eye Blood Clots And Starting Plavix?

I was on the hormone medicine estratest and then when I started having blood clots in my eyes, the doctor put me on plavix and took me off the estratest. I still feel like my body needs something for symptoms like hot flashes,ect. But I am 62 years old so maybe it's too late for the hormone meds
