Is It True That Pregnant Woman Should Not Be Around Chemotherapy Patients?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My daughter is pregnant - has had 2 miscarriages. My mother-in-law is going through chemotherapy tx and we were told my daughter couldn t be around people receiving chemo. Is this true

Thanks for asking to healthcaremagic.com.Well there is no such thing,neither cancer nor chemotherapy is something contagious,it can not affect anybody in the surrounding. Cause of previous miscarriages must be something else ,So don't think it will affect her pregnancy .Hope it helps and feel free to ask if you have any other queries,i wish her a healthy pregnancy .
