Is It True That Wartrin Shows Immediate Results In Removal Of Genital Warts?

I have read online about certain products, particularly wartrin, which claim to have quick results in the removal of genital area warts. I wanted to know whether this is being overstated, or if, to your knowledge has any severe side-effects that should lead one to avoid using the product. it does not have FDA approval, so im just inquiring to see the validity of their claims and the possible repercussions of using it. Hi ND,

Thanks for your query.

Remember that healthy genitals are an individual's assets. So, one should be very careful with use of "off-the-label" and non-FDI approved medications for warts removal. As such, there are lot of conflicting reports and harrowing tales of the duped patients. Perhaps, Wrtrin contains a sclerosing agent to 'burn' the wart, but you may land up with the burnt surrounding genital tissues!!

I would therefore, strongly recommend long-term use of safer agents (lotions/creams), such as, podophyllotoxin lotion, Imiquimod cream or Trichloroacetic acid cream. These agents take weeks to even months for curing the warts and should be used only under medical supervision.

Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me and will prescribe the advised drugs in appropriate doses.
