Is It Unsafe To Have Anal Sex While On Pradaxa For Atrial Fibrillation Due To Bleeding Risks, Or Is My Doctor Being Overly Cautious?

I am a 59 year old man who is on Pradaxa for atrial fibrillation. It as not discovered until I had a stroke two years ago. My doctor, who knows I am gay told me I should not receive anal sex, an activity which I have enjoyed in the pat, but have not done in some time. The doctor felt that internal bruising could lead to a hemorrhage or tearing, which could make it very difficult to stop any bleeding. I am wondering if my docyor is being overly cautiouas, as I have talked to other men who said that they have not been given that advice and have not had any problems.
