my last period was on February 19, 2011 and my cycle is 28 days. i thought i am pregnant but i saw today spots of blood on my pantyliner. is that means that i am not pregnant although all the symptoms assure that i am.could anyone see sopt of blood and be pregnant?
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion a urine pregnancy test need to be done to confirm pregnancy. The test gives accurate results after a week of missed period. The spotting in pregnancy is seen in case of ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage due to thyroid abnormalities, progesterone insufficiency,or bleeding from cervix. The spotting can also be due to implantation bleeding which is seen around the expected date of the period. So consider doing a urine pregnancy test. The pregnancy symptoms like nausea, vomitings, increased urination, sore breasts start around 6 weeks of pregnancy. Best regards...Dr.Srilatha
