Is It Worth Trying Nanoxidil After Using Minoxidil For Years?

I am a woman and have been using minoxidil 5% (dermatologist recommended) for 6-7 years now with good results everywhere except the crown area. Would the nanoxidil be worth trying? At this point are the hair follicles now dead after 2 years and I should expect no more growth? Thanks.

Hello dear,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.
I have read your query and understood your concern.

Minoxidil and nanoxidil both are very good in treating hair loss.
Thum rule is: If you use minoxidil with good results, continue it without interruption; if you have used minoxidil but have not seen the desired results, it is appropriate to try nanoxidil; and if you are just beginning therapy, start with nanoxidil because of its greater potential and fewer side effects.

Else you can apply minoxidil morning and night and Nanoxidil in the afternoon.

If you have further query, you may ask me.
I find this answer helpful
