I had a skin allergic reaction to some chemicals in a antiseptic cream and doctors decide it was a bacterial infections instead because it wasn't itchy. I had no signs of infection in my body but they still injected me with lots of antibiotics. Why do doctors look for itchiness to decide whether a skin reaction is an allergy or not?
