Is Itchy Bumps Around Elbows And Ankles Due To Gluten Intolerance?

Hi, I have very small skin colored bumps around the outer side of one of my elbows and also around both my ankles. They itch and seem to spread when I scratch them. I have read up on gluten intolarence and I do seem to eat a lot of bread and I also suffer from constipation which I think is related to the bread.

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Gluten intolerance could cause small skin coloured papules and blisters on back of elbows, knees, back and buttocks and the condition is termed as dermatitis herpetiformis. It can be confirmed by doing a skin biopsy for histopathological examination and immunofluorescence.
You could try avoiding gluten in all forms and see if the rash improves.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
