Is Klippel-feil Syndrome Hereditary?

I have asymmetrical shoulders and my doctor made me get an xray for scoliosis. It turns out i did not have scoliosis but was very close. My mom was recently diagnosed with the genetic disease Klippel-Feil Syndrome, what are the chances I have it, and should I get it checked out?\
