Knee replacement is quite a common procedure nowadays. Post multiple cortizone injections - the ligaments maybe quite weak. Regular Physiotherapy / Occupational therapy will surely help prolong the need for replacement. Including Physiotherapy / Occupational therapy prior to replacement will also help reduce recovery and rehab time.
Post surgery, you'll need couple months of Physiotherapy / Occupational therapy sessions to get back to your regular functional lifestyle with no pain.
