Is Knuckle Turning Black And Blue, Irritated Red After Icing Due To Yanking Sticky Tape Wrapped Around Finger Concerning?
A piece of sticky tape wrapped around my middle finger. When the tape was yanked off, the knuckle furthest from the nail (ie at base of finger) turned black & blue then an ugly irritated red after icing. This occurred 2 days ago. Other than rest, do I need to seek medical attention?

Dear it can be contact dermatitis,allergic response to stick tape.It will fade away after some days.But using tape again can aggravate the reaction.
