Hi,

Wax is formed by secretions of glands in ear canal whose secretions can reduce with advancing age, white scales indicate dry ear, it is a normal ageing process.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Cardiologist Dr. Ilir Sharka's  Response
Hello,

The wax is a type of mucus and the fact that your ears are dry, is a matter of aging. It could be a physiological reaction to aging. The white scales are related to dry ears. If you don't have any itching, there is no reason to panic.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
