Is Laryngitis Contagious?
I need to know if I am contagus(sure I did not spell that right) I have been coughing, sneezing, have larangitus(not right spelling again) It started last Thrusday and on Monday of this week went to my dr and he checked for Flu and streph had neither. gave me a shot of cartizone and said if not better by friday would call in antibotic. I am getting better each day the only concern is am I contagus? I help out with my 89 year old father and 83 year old mother. Need to know when safe to go back. I stay at thier house at night. Please let me know something soon.

hello, thanks for your query, any sore throat( pharyngitis ) with improper treatment, can go for laryngitis, which leads to hoarseness of voice voice break. yes. if it viral cause of laryngitis can be contagious . hope I answered ur question. all d best. take care.
