Is Lasik Surgery Recommended With This Eye Power And Corneal Thickness?

I am 25years old female whose eye power is -9(R),-11(L).And my corneal thickenss is 520. My doctor said full correction is not possible but upto -7 is possbile. So i need to wear glasses after lasik. My ques is after lasik my corneal thickness will be 450 according to my doctor. So in that situation am i able to wear contact lense as my cornea will thin that time?Is it problematic to do lasik?

Hi,

With such trivial difference in VA and less corneal thickness to do procedure with, I suggest its better to keep natural corneal thickness as even after the procedure likelihood is that you will have to use glasses with a significant refractory power. But you can take second opinion from an opthalmologist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
