Is Left Side Abdominal Pain Below Rib Cage With Blood Work Showing Slightly Elevated WBC, RBC And Liver Enzymes Serious?
left side abdominal pain, just below rib cage. Has been about 3 months now. Went to doc, did blood, everything came back semi normal, he did state, WBC slightly elevated, RBC slightly elevated and liver enzymes slightly elevated, pancreatic enzymes were normal. I have no insurance at the moment so expensive testing is out of the question. Any ideas or thoughts
Hi. Slight rise in RBC, WBC and Liver enzymes with pain under the rib-cage is suggestive of inflammation of the liver called Hepatitis. Just go for ultrasonography , Ask you Doctor to give you an antibiotic and liver protective preparations with Digestive enzymes. You may be fine. Take a Bed-rest for 1 to 3 weeks for early recovery. Since Pancreatic enzymes are normal , the risk is less.
