General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If your periods is delayed for more than a week or having irregular periods, it might be due to pregnancy, stress, low birth weight, obesity, PCOS etc.
I advise you to:
- Do HPT to rule out pregnancy
- Encourage normal activities & YOGA & stress free exercises
- Take nutritious diet
- Avoid food containing caffeine, alcohol
- Cap. Meftalspas 1-1-1 for cramps
- Take iron & calcium supplements
- Consult your gynecologist for further assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
