Is Little Blood Discharge In 6th Week Of Pregnancy A Cause For Concern?

I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and when I went to use the bathroom earlier there was a little blood on the toilet paper. Not heavy and only when I wiped. I occasionally have slight cramps but nothing like menstrual Cramps. I don't have my first appointment for 3 weeks should I be concerned and make another appointment sooner? I also don't have any morning sickness

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You should consider visiting your doctor sooner. He or she may suggest an ultrasound to take a look at the baby.

It is quite possible that there is no problem with the baby but the ultrasound would be needed to confirm this.

You can monitor for any further bleeding by wearing a pad. Also monitor for abdominal cramps.

I hope this helps
