Is Little Discharge During Periods A Cause Of Concern?

Hello. This is a questiong from my wife. She tells me that until recently her periods have been regular and produced a moderate amount of blood. This month her period came at the same time but the amount of blood was much much less. Is this a cause for concern? She said there was no pain an she feels fine. She also said she did not believe she had changed her eating habits.
