Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You are suffering from anxiety and were taking Librium 25 mg since last 20 years twice daily. Librium is a benzodiazepine drug and the drug helps to control the symptoms of anxiety. It is not advisable to take benzodiazepines regularly for long periods of time because of risk of dependence as the drugs are associated with serious risk of abuse. The drug help to control symptoms but doesn't treat anxiety. So I don't think you should consider taking the drug again for anxiety. Zoloft is Sertraline and though the drug doesn't result in pleasurable effects but the drug help to reduce the symptoms of anxiety when taken on regular basis and is one of most commonly used drug for treatment of anxiety. So please continue to take the drug as per your prescription and wait for some days. With passage of time your symptoms would decrease. Try to avoid using Librium again. Consult your psychiatrist if symptoms persist.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
