Is Loop Of Cord Around Baby's Neck Shown In Ultrasound Concerning?

Hello dr. I am 38 weeks pregnant and my whole peegnancy went normal but now as per the ultrasound there is a loop of cord around around baby's neck .. my dr my said may be that's the reason the baby hasnt dropped completely.. but his head has been fixed in the pelvic bone.. she said not to wait till my EDD i.e 12 march and directly go for c-sec within 2-3 days .. plzzz help me .. what should i do.. i want to giv normal birth. Bt now this thing has made me upset.. plz giv ur valuqble suggwstions

It would be best to have the c section if the doctor believes this is the best option.

A loop of cord around the neck has the potential to affect the baby by affecting blood supply to the brain. At the present it is loose and would not do this but during a normal vaginal birth, this can occur.
