Is Loss Of Appetite Related To Thyroid Disorder?

I have had loss of appetite for over two weeks. I have not vomited from the foods I have ate but for a person who has a very healthy appetite, this is unusual. I am not on any medicals, I am a female, 60 yrs old in relatively good health. I am just concerned it may be the beginning of something that could develop into something more serious. Could it be anything related to the thyroid?
