Is Loss Of Fingernails Related To Side Effects Of Nexium?

I have been on Nexium for 2yrs. I'm a 49yr female w/scleroderma. At the time they put me on the drug my reflux was so severe I couldnt wallow/eat. I am seriously concerned that I am exhibiting adverse side effects. The one I am most concerned with is the loss of my fingernails? Please help. They are not getting any better. I asked my rheumatologist about it, but he didnt have a clue to what could be causing this. Then I read about long term side effects of Nexium. What's going on with my body?
